The Yolo Subbasin GSP was adopted by the Board of Directors at a Public Hearing on January 24, 2022. The GSP was submitted to the California Department of Water Resources on January 28. The YSGA Board of Directors will have a Special Meeting on January 24, 2022 to vote on formally adopting the Yolo Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP).

The 60 day public commenting period for the Yolo Subbasin DRAFT Groundwater Sustainability Plan ended on October 27, 2021. Staff are working to incorporate the comments that were received during this period into the GSP.

GSP Process
At the March 2018 YSGA Board meeting, the Board adopted Resolution 2018-1 formalizing the initiation of developing the Yolo Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP). Yolo Subbasin beneficial users and interested parties are encouraged to sign up for YSGA updates and to check this website often for meetings and workshops related to the development of the GSP.
The YSGA’s formal notice of intent is also available on DWR’s SGMA portal. Please check back here often for updates on the planning process.
